Best friend?

Gosh. I am still sore. How do I remedy this aching? Words cut deeper than any knife. Can’t remember the last time I felt this burning. I’m on a freaking see-saw. Either I’m sitting at either end or right in the middle.

On one hand, I DISLIKE HIM for being the lowest guy I’ve ever known. On the other hand, I totally forget how LOW he is and remember all the sweet lovey-dovey things that we did and actually MISS HIM. Damn. IN the middle, is the best. When I’m studying, I don’t think of anything else.

Sigh. Sometimes, I find myself thinking – should I let his LOW philosophy affect me? By remaining friends with him am I, inexplicitly – allowing him to bias upon me this way?

And then I remind myself that, after all, he is JUST A FRIEND – why should his opinion of me affect me anyway? Then I think back on the times when I used to think that he “…..was like my Lover, and my Best Friend – All wrapped up into one with a ribbon on it” (Yes, quoting Rehab by Rihanna – my current favourite song for obvious reasons).

But you see, it’s not that quick to forget about it, or to not care. Because he was beyond being JUST A FRIEND. I guess time will heal but, in the meantime,  I’ll keep listening to Rehab and lots of other break-up songs. And Decode by Paramore – well it’s not a break-up song, but it reminds me Robert Pattinson.

And of course, rush up on Trust and Land argh!!! Killer subjects T__________________________________T

Farewell Angel

Where is the Love? On Valentine’s? Having being in evanescence for some time, the possibility of breaking up has been there, only without a trigger. I asked for the break on Valentine’s, after dinner on the way back to my place.

The first time felt more like atonement than liberation. The 2nd, final time felt like a revolution. Finally a truth that has been long hidden surfaced and sealed my decision. Why the break up? Too many small things add up to sth big, and the final straw was the biggest blow.

I wudnt claim that I am innocent either. It all boils down to one fundamental revelation: We are NOT COMPATIBLE. No pushing faults to each other.

Farewell Angèl. May YOU have a better person as your partner and be Angèl to another who deserves it. I apologize for all the wrongs, enjoyed the good times and leave with no regret. Thx for the lesson well learnt. No drama from me, just a simple and sincere Goodbye.

The V-Day

Valentine’s is tomorrow. Big deal. I ain’t getting nothing for no one. Nor am I expecting anything either. I am still considering an evil plan to be executed tomorrow. Should I do it or no?

Since it’s THE TIME OF THE YEAR to act all lovey-dovey, allow me to add to the atmosphere. Here are some quotes I found from a forum.

1. A man overtime falls in love with woman he is attracted to, and a woman overtime become more attracted to the man she loves. (Now this bit is true to me!)
2. Friendship = love – sex + reason

Balik Kampung

Dear Blog,

I had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday indeed! On the 29th January 2009, I joined Angel’s troupe to Genting Highlands. The experience there has been superbly covered by Yung Chien already on his blog – so hop over to his site to read it yeah?

So I shall now forward to the AFTER travelling down from Genting part

Back in KL, Angel drove over to KX’s place to pick him up to go play DoTa. A small car has the capacity to carry up to 5 humans, including the driver himself. Before KX, there was Ken Seng, David and yours truly in the backseat. As per the new rule enforced in Jan this year, every passenger in the back seat must wear seatbelts, which we did. However, with KX joining us at the back, with everyone obediently wearing seatbelts there wasn’t any space for KX. So KX sat at far right, with his butt “sitting” on the door, with poor David squashed to his side like a sardine in a can. Simply hilarious! So in order to make space for KX, someone suggested for one passenger to unbuckle. So Ken Seng gallantly declared “I’ll take off my seatbelt!” and unbuckled…. MY seatbelt.

KX promptly cracked “What are you studying ar? Surgeon can make mistakes like this meh? After do surgery take out the wrong organ…” (Or something similar to that extent…. ;P)

A day later after the Genting trip, I followed my Mum back to her hometown in Taiping, Perak. I met up with all except two of my cousins who are overseas. With my lousy short-term memory, I shall post some photos and caption them with the conversation that went on at the moment of photograph. ;P
